SYMPTOMS
You try to install the Microsoft Outlook 2000 Existing Items Converter, and receive the following error message:
CAUSE
You are using Outlook 2002, and the setup program is designed to only install the Existing Items Converter on a computer that has Outlook 2000 installed on it.
WORKAROUND

The Existing Items Converter is a Microsoft Outlook Component Object Model (COM) Add-in that allows you to change the message class of items in a folder. This utility is available for Outlook 2000, but has not been updated for Outlook 2002, and is not installed on computers that are using Outlook 2002. Microsoft has not tested the Existing Items Converter with Outlook 2002, and therefore, Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) cannot support using it with Outlook 2002.
