Works 1.x: Screen Corruption When Using MS-Key During Charting

Screen corruption may occur where MS-Key menu commands should appear when MS-Key is invoked during charting. The following example duplicates this problem:
Activate MS-Key while viewing a chart.
Press the ESC key twice to return to Spreadsheet view.
Activate MS-Key again; MS-Key’s prompt will appear in the middle of the screen.
Press the ESC key, followed by the ALT key, to activate the menu bar.
The bar appears to be a mix of MS-Key menus and Works menus.
This problem does not occur in Works 2.0 or 3.0.
