When you are using Exchange System Manager to view public folders, when you attempt to expand the Public Folders tree, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the default Web site on this server does not contain a blank Host header.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
- In the left pane, expand the server.
- Right-click the Web site and click Properties.
- Click the Web site tab, click the Advanced button, and then click Add.
- Enter the TCP port number that you are using for this Web site (this number is 80 by default), leave the Host header name box blank, and then click OK.
- Click OK.
NOTE: The Host header name box must be blank; if you enter a value in this box, you may receive the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section.
