SYMPTOMS
When you try to open a Web site by using FrontPage 2000 on a computer that is running the Micron OEM version of Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), you may experience one of the following symptoms:
- FrontPage continues to prompt you for a user name and password.
- You receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This is a known issue with the Micron OEM version of Windows Me.
RESOLUTION
A supported fix named Vnet.exe is available from Micron. To download Vnet.exe, visit the following Micron Web site:
This file is a registry fix for Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) that resets the networking components. This fix is for desktop systems that experience network connectivity issues after a network card that was not included with the system is installed.
