The Microsoft Script Debugger tool specifically designed to debug Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) code. It is installed by a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office 2000, and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Web site.
The Script Debugger tool is available in following two versions
- Version 1.0 is included with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0. Use this version if you are using a Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98-based computer.
- Version 1.0a is included with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0. Use this version if you are using a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer.
You can download either version of the Script Debugger tool from the following Microsoft Web site:
To use the Script Debugger tool, add the following components when you add or remove features in your Office or Outlook 2000 installation:
- The Office 2000 Web Scripting component, found under the Office Tools, HTML Source Editing group.
- The Visual Basic Scripting Support component, found under the Outlook group.
