Article ID: 268198

Article Last Modified on 1/27/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Works 6.0
  • Microsoft Works Suite 2001

This article was previously published under Q268198

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to drag or copy an image into the Recipe Book template in Works Database, the results may be inconsistent and not as you expect.

When you attempt to drag an image to the left side of the recipe card, the image appears to be copied but does not appear, or it is severely distorted.

When you attempt to drag an image to the right side of the recipe card, the image is copied, but it replaces any items already on the right side.

Similar behavior may occur with the other recipe book templates.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because the fields in the recipe book templates are not formatted to accommodate images.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior:

  1. Start Works Task Launcher.
  2. On the Programs tab, click Works Database.
  3. In the right pane, click Recipe book, and then click Start.
  4. Click the style that you want, and then click Finish.
  5. On the View menu, click Form Design. You can now drag or paste an image to the position that you want.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
