SUMMARY

The registry editor tool in Windows Millennium (Me) has an additional feature that allows you to add favorites to your most visited registry locations. This favorites list is not the same as the favorites list for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

MORE INFORMATION

This feature allows you to quickly store points in the registry that you may need to access at another time. The registry location that holds this information is:

To use this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, click Run, and then type regedit in the dialog box.
  2. Locate the specific place in the registry that you wish to add to your favorites, and then click it once to select it.
  3. Click the Favorites menu, and then click Add to Favorites.
