SYMPTOMS
When you start the demonstration (demo) version of Microsoft Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings on an Intel i810e computer that runs Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the buildings, people, trees, and other screen elements may not be displayed.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the demonstration version may be incompatible with some of the drivers that are installed with the Intel i810e computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, you must install the full version of Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
