SYMPTOMS

When you try to create a new Fire and Security Systems drawing, you may receive warning messages about macros in the following stencils:

  • Alarm and access controls.vss
  • Initiation and annunciation.vss
  • Video surveillance.vss


RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, click the Advanced tab, and then click to select the Macro Virus Protection check box.
  2. On the File menu, point to New, point to Building Services, and then click Fire and Security Systems to create a new Fire and Security Systems diagram. Note that you receive a warning message about macros in the document.
