SYMPTOMS
If you configure Domain Name System (DNS) behind a Proxy server and you specify in the Wspcfg.ini file to bind to only a specific address, the Winsock Proxy client instructs the Proxy server to bind to all addresses instead of just the one specified address.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
