SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), when you preview a gray-scale scan using a Microtek 6400xl or 9600xl scanner, a large black vertical line may be displayed in the image.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, preview the scan in color, select the final scan area, and then perform the final scan in gray-scale mode.
To resolve this issue, contact Microtek about the availability of a fix for this issue.
