SUMMARY

This article describes how to permanently delete activity items that are associated with a contact.

MORE INFORMATION

To permanently delete activity items for a contact:

  1. Start Outlook, and then open a contact.
  2. Click the Activities tab.
  3. Click the activity item that you want to permanently delete, and then press DELETE.

NOTE: When you press DELETE, you see the In Folder field change to the Deleted Items field because you have moved the item that is associated with this activity from its original folder to the Deleted Items folder. If you have selected the option to empty the Deleted Items folder when you quit Outlook, the item is permanently deleted when you quit Outlook.

  1. Press DELETE a second time to immediately and permanently delete the item. It now disappears from the Activities list.
