SYMPTOMS

If Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) document footers are enabled for a folder in IIS 4.0, small image files (roughly 150 bytes) located in the folder are not displayed in Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Internet Explorer version 5.01 Service Pack 1.
