SYMPTOMS

When you add wave audio (.wav) files to associate with specific sound events using Sound Script Editor in Links LS MS-DOS, the game may unexpectedly quit and you may receive an error message.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you attempt to add 50 or more wave audio files at the same time.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, add approximately ten wave audio files, quit Sound Script Editor, and then restart Sound Script Editor to add more files. Repeat this process until you have added all the wave audio files you want to associate with specific sound events.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Links LS MS-DOS (1997 Edition).
