SYMPTOMS

When you paste a color TIFF or BMP image from the Clipboard to Kodak Imaging, the final image may appear in black and white. JPEG images appear as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the default settings for TIFF and BMP images must be changed within Kodak Imaging.

RESOLUTION

To paste the image as a color image, click New on the File menu in Kodak Imaging, click the appropriate image type, click the Color tab, click the appropriate color setting, click OK, and then paste the image.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
