SYMPTOMS
Clients may experience slow performance and delays with PPTP after they apply Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4).
CAUSE
This problem occurs because, in order to increase performance, flow control was altered in SP4. This enhancement exposed a previously undiscovered bottleneck.
RESOLUTION
Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0
