User Manager crashes when users are members of many global groups

SYMPTOMS

When you view the properties of users that belong to 1,000 or more global groups in a Windows NT domain, User Manager may generate an Access Violation error message. An Access Violation error message may also be generated for users that were members of less than 1,000 global groups.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5.
