CAUSE
The presenter computer was unable to end one or both File Transfer Service sessions on the NetShow server. This condition can be caused by poor network connectivity or by the manipulation of permissions or files on the NetShow server or errors on the NetShow server.
THINGS TO TRY
To end the FTS sessions manually on the NetShow Server, follow these steps:
- On the Windows Start menu of the NetShow Server, point to Programs, point to NetShow Services, and then click NetShow Administrator.
- Click Multicast File Transfers in the left pane.
- In the Multicast File Broadcasts pane, locate the Online Broadcast programs. These program streams will contain the user name of the presenter, followed by the name of the broadcast folder where audience members go to access the presentation. (For example, HB-JoeUserbroadcast19990424092042). Click to select the first item.
- Click Programs, then click Delete.
- Click OK at the Do you want to delete the selected program? prompt
- Repeat steps three through five for the other FTS program if it exists.
