SYMPTOMS
After you install Internet Explorer 5 on a Microsoft Windows-based computer with Internet Explorer 4.x installed, and then uninstall Internet Explorer 5, you may not be able to uninstall Internet Explorer 4. Also, if you then re-install Internet Explorer 4, you may still be unable to uninstall it.
CAUSE
This issue can occur because the installation process for Internet Explorer 5 removes the Internet Explorer 4.x Setup files.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
