SYMPTOMS
When you click the animated Internet Explorer logo in the upper-right corner of the browser window, a Web page is not loaded.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because unlike Internet Explorer 4.x, Internet Explorer 5 does not load a Web page when you click the animated Internet Explorer logo.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
In Internet Explorer 4.x, Internet service providers (ISPs) can use the Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to customize the Internet Explorer logo and specify the Web page that is loaded when you click the logo. In Internet Explorer 5, ISPs can customize the logo in the browser window, but they cannot specify a Web page to load when you click the logo.
