SUMMARY

DskDrive.exe is a file that contains Disk_Drives.doc. The Windows 95 I/O Subsystem (IOS) contains internal mechanisms for managing the removal and addition of disk drive letters and entire physical devices. This document addresses issues relating to:


  • Removing and adding logical drives (corresponding to logical DCBs).
  • Removing and adding physical devices (corresponding to physical DCBs).
