This article lists the server-side fixes included with the FrontPage 98B Patch.

The fixes for the server extensions will not be in the FrontPage 98B Patch. Instead, a full update to the server extensions for Windows NT will be simultaneously released. This update will upgrade the server extensions for Windows NT to version 3.0.2.1706. All fixes from the FrontPage 98A release will be included in the FrontPage 98B release. After application of the Windows NT Server Extensions version 3.0.2.1706, the following files will be upgraded to version 3.0.2.1706:
Fp30txt
Fp30wel
Fp30utl
In addition to the files above, all files in the Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\Version3.0 subdirectory will be upgraded to version 3.0.2.1706.
There will be no upgrade to the server extensions for UNIX at this time.
Additional Server-Side Fixes
- Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 locks up when multiple Webs are simultaneously opened on a Digital Dual Processor computer running Windows NT. The FrontPage 98B Patch is delivered as an upgrade to Fp30utl.dll.
- Anonymous account is improperly detected on IIS 4.0. The root level of the Web site in the MetaBase is now checked for this value.

- Change into or out of Daylight Saving Time causes the loss of the Modified By value in FrontPage Explorer and inaccurate recording of Modified Time.
