Explorer Crashes When Dragging Lotus Notes Files over the Explorer Toolbar ID: Q185735 The information in this article applies to: Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 4.0 Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition SYMPTOMS If you drag a file from the Lotus Notes application and cross over the Explorer toolbar multiple times, you will receive an access violation from Explorer. CAUSE Invalid parameters are passed to toolbar control, which causes Explorer.exe to stop working. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.
