SYMPTOMS
When you insert an image into your animation, the image appears very small. When you attempt to resize the image by dragging the size handles or by changing settings in the Edit Image dialog box, the image does not resize.
This behavior sometimes occurs when you insert an image from a network location (such as, \server.jpg).
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, copy the image to a local disk location before you insert it into your animation. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open box, type the path for the network location where you stored your image. For example, type “\server” (without the quotation marks. Click OK.
- Drag your image to the Desktop.
- Start or switch to Liquid Motion and open your animation.
- On the Insert menu, click Image.
- From the Desktop folder, select your image and then click Open.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
