SUMMARY

Microsoft Outlook 98 allows you to automatically create a contact record that contains the recipient's e-mail address by replying to a message.

To automatically create a contact record when replying to a message, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options
  2. On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options.
  3. In the "On Replies and Forwards" section, click to select the "Automatically put people I Reply to in" check box.
  4. Click Folder.
  5. Select the Contacts folder or any folder that contains contact items and click OK.
