The following article details the process for moving from a Beta-2 NetShow Theater Server (NTS) installation to the Beta-3 release of NTS.

Due to major registry and file system changes, Microsoft does not support an upgrade of NTS Beta-2 to Beta-3 through an attempted uninstallation or reinstallation. If you try to upgrade a pre-release version, the Windows NT registry can be corrupted and require a new, clean installation of Windows NT to a freshly formatted drive to restore confidence in the Windows NT registry.
Microsoft recommends the installation of NTS Beta-3 to a new installation of Windows NT 4.0 on cleanly formatted drives. This process should be followed for the Title and all Content Servers as well as the Administrator System and ATM-ARP server, if used.
