SUMMARY

This article describes how MSN Money Investing stores your Portfolio information.

MORE INFORMATION

MSN Money Portfolio saves your information on secure data center servers. Therefore, you can access your portfolio information from which ever computer you are currently using. Your data can only be accessed by using your Microsoft Passport Network account.

If you are using the Deluxe version of Portfolio in MSN Money, MSN Money stores a local copy of your portfolio information in a data file on your computer. To find the file name of that data file and where it is located, click More in the Other tasks section, and then click About Portfolio Manager. If you are using the Basic version of Portfolio in MSN Money, your portfolio information is only stored on a server that is located in controlled facilities. The controlled facilities use your Passport Network credentials (the e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to the Passport Network) to access your specific data.
