SUMMARY
When attempting to troubleshoot a particular computer’s problems, you may need to determine the computer’s BIOS date. On most PCs you can see the BIOS date in MS-DOS Debug by dumping the FFFF:0 range of memory.
On some PCs, the BIOS date is also displayed when you start the computer, and on PCs with MS-DOS 6.0 or later or Windows 3.1 or later, you can use the included “Microsoft Diagnostic Utility” (MSD.EXE) to determine the BIOS date.
