Summary: Currently, there is not a specific dialog editor for creating version 1.x Word for Windows custom dialog boxes. However, it is possible to use Microsoft Excel’s dialog box editor in conjunction with a supplied macro to convert the Excel dialog statements to Word for Windows dialog box statements. The Excel dialog editor and the macro to convert the dialog statements to Word for Windows format are available as part of the Word for Windows Developer Kit. To order the kit, call Microsoft Sales and Service at (800) 426-9400. The part number for the Word for Windows Developer’s Kit is 059-050-574. The kit contains the following: - “Using WordBASIC” manual - a companion disk - documentation for the Excel dialog editor The dialog editor is on the companion disk along with some macros that translate Excel dialog code into Word for Windows dialog code.
