SYMPTOMS An MS-DOS workstation hangs when trying to shut down SQL Server version 1.1 using SAF, by typing “shutdown” in the query window and pressing CTRL+E.
RESOLUTION Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 1.1. This problem was corrected in SQL Server 1.1a, which is available from Microsoft Product Support Services.
