Summary:

If you receive the error message “unable to open ONLINE.INI when entering the SR-MANAGER file” while using Microsoft OnLine, check the following:

1. You may have edited the ONLINE.INI file and saved it incorrectly. This file must be saved as plain ASCII text.
2. The FILES= statement in the CONFIG.SYS file may be too small. It should be at least 20.
