An ENDIF instruction must follow an IF instruction
or in Micrsoft Word versions 4.0 and 5.0 the error message:
Missing ENDIF
indicates that a macro or Print Merge contains an IF or IF…ELSE instruction without an ENDIF. To correct this error in a print merge, do the following:
- Press ESC to cancel Print Merge.
- Add the ENDIF instruction at the end of the text to be inserted conditionally, or edit the macro to include the matching ENDIF.
To correct this error during a macro use Macro Edit.
