SYMPTOMS
When you open a master project as read-only and expand or collapse inserted projects, you are prompted to save changes when you close the master project. If you click Yes or No, you are prompted to save changes to each inserted project. Some master projects may contain several inserted projects, and this results in repeated prompts. You do not have the option to select Yes to all or No to all.
Additionally, if you click Yes to All in the first dialog box, Microsoft Project may stop and all the inserted projects may remain checked out. Users cannot access any of these projects until an administrator checks them in manually.
