Windows 95 build 1111 is the official OSR2 build of Windows 95.

Installation

Installing from Windows 95 Boot Floppy

  1. Prepare the hard disk with fdisk.exe, reboot, then format. format.com C:
  2. Go to drive C:, type in md setup, enter the folder, then type copy D:\WIN95\*.cab, where D: is the CD drive.
  3. Enter the WIN95 directory in the CD drive and launch setup.exe
  4. Fill in required information then continue to the file copying process.
  5. Remove the floppy then reboot.
  6. After reboot, setup will complain that the setup CD is not in the drive. Click OK then change the path to C:\SETUP.
