SYMPTOMS
A STOP message (0x0000001E) appears when you upload a file at 9600 baud or faster using Clark Inc.'s PCBoard BBS software.
CAUSE
There is a race condition in the SERIAL.SYS driver.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
