SUMMARY

Single-line headers and footers in rich-text format (RTF) documents are converted to Header and Footer paragraphs when the RTF documents are opened in Works for Windows.

MORE INFORMATION

The RTF converter cannot distinguish between simple and complex headers and footers, so it defaults to the more versatile of the two formats, which is Header and Footer paragraphs.
