- Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000 Standard Edition
When you run the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor program on a computer that has the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 firewall client installed, you may receive a warning that resembles the following:
If you continue the upgrade process, the ISA Server 2000 firewall client does not work. Additionally, after the upgrade process is complete, the ISA Server 2000 firewall client cannot be removed.
This issue occurs because the ISA Server 2000 firewall client is incompatible with Windows Vista.
To work around this issue, remove the ISA Server 2000 firewall client before you upgrade to Windows Vista.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
