SYMPTOMS

In some cases, when you stream Microsoft Windows Media format video content across a home network by using the Media Sharing feature in Microsoft Windows Media Player 11, Windows Media Player may not work correctly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Windows Media Digital Rights Management does not correctly issue a license to the receiving computer or device. This problem may occur when the content that you are streaming uses Macrovision Analog Copy Protection.
