You have configured Parental Control settings in Microsoft Windows Media Player on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista. However, the settings may not be applied to all versions of Windows Media Player. For example, if you configure Parental Control settings in the 32-bit version of Windows Media Player, the settings do not affect the 64-bit version of Windows Media Player.
This problem occurs because Parental Control settings are not applied to both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of Windows Media Player when Parental Control settings are configured in either version.
To work around this problem, configure Parental Control settings independently in each version of Windows Media Player.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
