SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or in Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you may receive an error message when you try to use the Workflowutil.exe /d command to delete a workflow. The error message text resembles the following:

Procedure or Function 'DeleteUser' expects parameter '@UserName1', which was not supplied

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 SP1 or Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1 SP1 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Management Console to delete departments, roles, and users manually.
