In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you may receive an error message that resembles the following when you try to enlist two orchestrations at the same time:

ArgumentException exception occurred while the XLANG/s runtime enlisted a service.
Error message: Value does not fall within the expected range.

This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:

  • You try to enlist the orchestrations in the BizTalk Server 2006 Administration Console or through the ExplorerOM object model.
  • Each orchestration is bound to a different host.
