Summary:

Interleaf Incorporated’s Interleaf Desktop Publisher is a high-end desktop publishing application not directly supported for conversion to or from Microsoft Word for Windows, Word for MS-DOS, or Word for the Macintosh.

As shipped, Interleaf can read rich-text format (RTF) generated by Word for MS-DOS, Word for Windows version 1.1a or earlier, or Word for the Macintosh version 4.0 or earlier.

As of 10/1/92, an updated RTF converter is available for use with Interleaf that adds support for reading version 2.0 Microsoft Word for Windows and version 5.0 Microsoft Word for the Macintosh RTF exports. For more information, or to obtain this converter, call Interleaf Customer Support at (800) 688-5151. To receive the converter, be sure to request the Interleaf 5.3.1 patch-tape.

In addition, a number of third-party conversion products and bureaus support conversion of Interleaf format to and/or from Microsoft Word products. To identify these vendors, query on the following words in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
