Location of Print Queue Temporary Files |
Q48175
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for MS-DOS, versions 5.0, 5.50, 6.0
SUMMARY
When queued printing is used, Word creates a temporary print file on the document disk each time the Print Printer command is executed. The number of documents that can be queued is limited only by the available disk space. If there isn't enough disk space, Word gives the message "Document disk full."
If the TMP variable is set with the DOS Set command, the print queue temporary files will be stored in the TMP directory rather than on the document disk.
