SUMMARY
Learning Word uses whatever codepage has been installed in a particular system. There are many different codepages available. The two most common are Codepage 850, used in the international market and Codepage 437, used in the United States.
When a computer uses Codepage 850 and the U.S. version of Learning Word, some characters don’t show up correctly (for example, the borders on some of the boxes). The characters in French and German Learning Word have been modified to support Codepage 850.
