SUMMARY
In Word, if you choose Library Index or Library Table and Word cannot find entries to use to compile an index or a table, the following error message will appear:
“No Entries Found.”
In Word 5.50, if you choose Insert Index or Insert Table of Contents and Word cannot find entries for the index or table, the following message will appear:
“No index or table of contents entries can be found.”
To successfully find entries, choose Yes in the “show hidden text:” field of the Options menu and review your index or table entries to be sure the three-character table or index codes have been entered properly. Table and index codes must be three characters (for example, “.i.” or “.c.”) in hidden-character format.
