The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 1.x, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0

SUMMARY

Computed fields within the Database module can use all the Microsoft Works functions except those that require ranges for arguments. Therefore, the following functions cannot be used:

Irr(), Mirr(), HLookup(), Index(), Lookup(), Match(), and VLookup()

For a listing of functions that may require a range but can also be used in a database with a single field reference, a list of fields separated by commas, or a value in place of a range, see page 147 of the “Using Microsoft Works” version 2.0 manual, page 373 of the version 3.0 “Microsoft Works User’s Guide,” or page 251 of the version 4.0 “Microsoft Works User’s Guide.”
