SYMPTOMS
When you try to start Internet Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
If you click Details, you see information that is similar to
where Program
is Regsrv32.exe, Explorer.exe, Iexplorer.exe, or another program. If you click OK, you return to the desktop and Internet Explorer does not start.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if there is insufficient disk space available for Internet Explorer to cache files.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, free some hard disk space.
If you are using Windows 98, you may be able to use the Disk Cleanup tool to free enough space to start Internet Explorer. To use this tool, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
