When you save a contact as a vCard, it is saved in either the default location, or a Most Recently Used (MRU) location. The Signature Picker does not look in these locations, so the vCard does not appear on the list.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Options, and on Mail Format tab, click Signature Picker. Click New to create a new signature, click Next, and then click OK to close all dialog boxes.
- Open a contact that contains the information you want included in the vCard. On the File menu, click Save As. In the Save as type list, click vCard Files (*.vfc), and save it to the folder for appropriate for your version of Microsoft Windows:
For Windows 95 and Windows 98:
For Windows NT:
- On the Tools menu, click Options, on the Mail Format tab, click Signature Picker. Click New to create a new signature and then click Next. The vCard for your contact should appear in the Attach this business card (vCard) to this signature list.
