SYMPTOMS
When you schedule a new calendar appointment in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA) and then cancel the task before you click Save and Close, the appointment may still appear on the calendar. This behavior occurs in the following circumstances:
- When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x with OWA and you create a recurring appointment, but close before saving.
- When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 with OWA and you invite another attendee, but close before saving.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
