Microsoft Site Server SP3 does not update the Usage Analysis files that are installed as part of the Microsoft Site Server Tools installation.
Use one of the following workarounds after installing Service Pack 3 on the Site Server Tools computer.
Modify the \microsoft site server\sp3\Setupsp3update.ini as noted in the following and re-rerun setup. Adding the following sections to the Sp3update.ini file fixes the problem:
[SSATools\SQL] cab=1:sp3sql.cab [SSATools\ACCESS] cab=1:sp3access.cab
- Extract the Sp3access.cab or Sp3sql.cab file under \microsoft site server\sp3\setup directory to the \microsoft site server\bin directory.
A new installation tool will be provided for Microsoft Site Server Tools. The new tools installer will be available at:
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Site Server 3.0.
